Phyllis Drummond's artwork is featured during July and August at Christopher's on Whidbey in Coupeville.
Enjoy a fine meal and Phyllis' beautiful artwork. She enjoys working in watercolor as well as in pastel and graphite. Her first love is capturing the beautiful human personality via portraiture. More inspiration for her paintings comes from the feeling of the infinite she finds in the magnificent landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.

Patty Picco is displaying her mixed media work at Knead & Feed during July and August. She considers herself a “Layerist”. Her work starts with the subtle textures of monotype or her own photographs. From there, she may combine paint with her hand-painted papers, paying special attention to the mood that she is trying to convey in the piece. She continues the layering process with the addition of encaustic painting, using a mixture of beeswax, damar resin for hardening and pure pigment for color.  Patty enjoys combining mediums to create works that are rich in color, texture and luminosity.

If you are staying at the Blue Goose Inn take a moment to enjoy the work of other Penn Cove Gallery artists; Michele Kempees through August, Randy Emmons through November, and Rainy Lindell through December.
