Silversmith Mary Ellen O'Connor is Penn Cove Gallery's Featured Artist in August.  Mary Ellen is an artist with a passion for wildlife and nature. Since earning her BFA in metalsmithing, Mary Ellen has combined her knowledge of silversmithing with her love of art and wildlife.  Using epoxy resin inlays, which are both tough and beautiful, she creates her colorful wildlife designs on jewelry, belt buckles, bracelets, boxes and knife handles.

You are invited to meet Mary Ellen at Penn Cove Gallery on Wednesday, August 24,  from 10-5:30 pm.  She will explain and demonstrate some of the tools used in her beautiful jewelry.

Mary Ellen will also be showing and selling her work at two shows in the coming weeks: Bellevue (WA) Art Museum's ARTSfair July 29-31 and Art Fair Jackson Hole, Jackson Hole, WY, August 12-14.
