Join us in welcoming our newest member Lisbeth Cort. Lisbeth says that living in the colorful and historic town of Coupeville - in the heart of Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve - supplies endless inspiration for her contemporary watercolor art. Whidbey Island’s abundant farms, markets, roadside flower stands, local food and beaches all provide rich local subject matter for her work.
Lisbeth’s paintings are distinguished by a lively mix of patterns, saturated colors and rich details. She combines watercolor, wax pastels, gouache and ink to present her subjects in joyful and lively ways.
A variety of pieces from her various collections (Art of the Meal, Beach House Blooms, Coastal Art, Farm Stand Flowers, and Market Baskets) can be found at our gallery. Welcome Lisbeth!
