Penn Cove Gallery's June Artist of the Month is jewelry artist Beverly McQuary. Bev literally "plays with fire" in her Italian bead-making process. Glass bead-making involves melting colorful glass rods around a mandrel with a propane/oxygen torch and then embellishing them with more glass in an exciting dance on an incredibly small palette.
