Akemi Walker will be at the gallery from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, February 20, 2015 to demonstrate her work and the methods she uses to create her beautiful contemporary jewelry. Her special love is art clay silver, a mixture of fine silver and organic material. When the clay is fired in a kiln the organic material is burned away and the fine silver is left; quite magical!
