Printmaker and collage artist Francy Blumhagen will be at Penn Cove Gallery on Thursday, March 26, 2020, from 10AM to 5PM, with some of the tools she uses in creating her art. What captivates her as an artist is the imagery of the natural world, and having lived on Whidbey Island most of her life, she finds that the Island provides ample inspiration with its many plants, birds and animals and the land, sea and sky where they are found.The work itself is usually not entirely realistic or abstract, but develops from color, pattern, texture, and movement.
