Handweaver Janis Saunders will be at Penn Cove Gallery on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 10am to 5pm and will be demonstrating the tools of her trade.
Starting with an armful of fine yarns, Janis uses a computer-assisted loom to explore simple and complex patterns. Her current work features lovely cotton and rayon Tencel™ scarves whose threads have been resist-dyed or hand painted before they are woven, making each scarf unique.
