Penn Cove Gallery is featuring the work of jewelry artist Deborah Francis in April. Her work is contemporary and affordable. While often working in a series when creating jewelry, most necklaces and bracelets she creates are one-of-a-kind pieces. Originally working in polymer clay, she expanded her jewelry vocabulary to metals and cold connections after a three year residence in San Diego. Now, a variety of metals, found objects and polymer clay provide the right combinations of contrasting textures, colors and shapes.
Deborah also enjoys making relief sculpture. Her relief "A Delicate Balance" was used as the poster for the 2018 Coupeville Festival. see more of her work at www.deborahfrancis.com.
