Carol Ann Bauer is Penn Cove Gallery’s Featured Artist for January

1/4/2017

PictureSTILLFire Pottery in Penn Cove Gallery.
STILLFire Pottery artist Carol Ann Bauer is our January Artist of the Month.  Creating pottery full time since 1980, Carol's pottery springs from her love of classical form and is inspired by the endlessly fascinating beauty of nature.  Through her work she connects with people in the simple activities of life: serving food, displaying flowers, creating a quietly beautiful focal point in a room, or taking a moment to reflect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Each piece from STILLFire Pottery is formed individually by hand, glazed and decorated with their own specially formulated glazes, and gas fired to 2400 degrees F. The finished ware is durable, lead-free, microwaveable and dishwasher safe.

Carol will be at Penn Cove Gallery on January 18, from 10AM to 5PM, where she will discuss her journey in the art of pottery making.
