During March, oil painter Rainy Lindall will exhibit works at Coupeville's Blue Goose Inn (Pink House).

Rainy's 7th grade art teacher stirred her creative abilities and she says, "I took every art course I could." Being a self-taught artist and loving the landscape, she finds subjects for her paintings every day in this area of water and mountains.

Rainy says, "I enjoy painting with oils. I find that they give me the rich warm dark colors that make a painting glow as well as the vibrant bright colors that add the zing. The flowers in a breeze, the warmth of the sunset or the yellow trees in autumn all move me to capture this moment in time. Some times it works—some times it doesn’t, but I learn from every painting."

The Blue Goose Inn is one of four off-site exhibit locations exclusively featuring work by Penn Cove Gallery artists.  Exhibited works can be purchased through the gallery.
