Featured Artist -- Francy Blumhagen

9/1/2026

Francy Blumhagen has worked as a full time artist since completing her BFA in Painting at the University of Washington in 1983. She divides her time between watercolor, acrylic painting, collage, and printmaking. Her pieces incorporate elements of all four methods and are described as “mixed media”. Her printmaking, uses the same materials: inks, paint, and several varieties of rice paper. The image on the printing press may remain the same but her methods are more painterly and allow her total freedom to experiment with color, types of mark making tools, and collage. Come in and see her beautiful work!
