Acrylic works by Penn Cove Gallery artist Richard Nash are being featured at Christopher's Restaurant in Coupeville through February. Christopher's is one of four off-site exhibit locations that exclusively feature work by Penn Cove Gallery artists.

Richard is a Northwest native and is both a painter and a sculptor. His primary medium is acrylics on either museum board or on stretched canvas with a gesso-prepared surface.  He says that although his "work is abstract, the 'inspiration' for much of it comes from the play of light - often from multiple sources - and shadows and architectural forms on natural forms." The Northwest coastal environment provides much of his palette.

Knead & Feed Bakery Restaurant is one of four off-site exhibit locations in Coupeville which feature work exclusively by Penn Cove Gallery artists. Rainy Lindell's oil paintings are showing at Knead & Feed through February, 2017.

Rainy loves the Pacific Northwest landscape and finds subjects every day in the  water and mountains that surround us. Rainy most enjoys painting with oils. "I find that they give me the rich warm dark colors that make a painting glow as well as the vibrant bright colors that add the zing. The flowers in a breeze, the warmth of the sunset or the yellow trees in autumn all move me to capture this moment in time," she says.

You can, of course, see the full range of Rainy's work at Penn Cove Gallery daily 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and purchase works showing at Knead & Feed anytime through the gallery.

Acrylic paintings and prints by Penn Cove Gallery's Mark Lucero are being featured at Knead & Feed during November and December.  Mark thinks of his artwork as both self-discovery and self-disclosure. He says: "Many of my paintings originate from fundamental truths about human experience, such as the importance of attending to the value of time, cultivating patience with the work of transformation, or the struggle to come to terms with impermanence. My intention is to give joyous and lighthearted expression to some of life’s deeper truths."

Mark's compositions range from realism to fully abstract with the majority of his paintings being semi-abstract with a deeper message he wants to convey to the viewer. Enjoy Mark's work when you dine at Knead & Feed through the end of the year.  All work may be purchased through Penn Cove Gallery.  Knead & Feed is one of four off-site exhibit locations in Coupeville exclusively featuring work by Penn Cove Gallery artists.
