Wayne Lewis - Oak Harbor, Washington Wayne has been a resident of Whidbey since 1979. During his formative years, he studied drawing, painting and design at the Corcoran Gallery's School of Art (Washington, D. C.). A professional artist for more than 40 years, during which he concentrated on expression in the three-dimensional form of sculpture. Wayne created the "Dutch Boy" bronze sculpture located at City Beach in Oak Harbor. Wayne's highly prized sculptures, which have been displayed in fine art galleries across the United States and Canada, are noted and recognized for their free-flowing artistic expression and their emphasis on authentic, realistic detail--qualities which have stimulated investors, collectors, and appreciators throughout the United States and several foreign countries to purchase his work for their own private collections.
